The David Reutimann Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to support children, families and people in need through donations to numerous charitable organizations.
There are a few characteristics about David Reutimann that you learn to recognize immediately upon meeting him – he’s humble, extremely friendly and in racing – very determined. David made it to the pinnacle of NASCAR through hard work and perseverance.
His family has been an established name in racing for generations, with almost every family member associated with some form of racing. Away from the race track he’s a regular guy, who loves spending time working in his personal shop. Another admirable quality of David is the reality that he’s generous and cares about those from his community that are less fortunate.
Each year David hosts an annual charity cookout, auction and golf tournament in Zephyrhills, Florida benefiting numerous charities in the State of Florida. Each year it continues to grow and has become an exciting time for many in the community each November. David Reutimann Visits the Children of Camp Boggy Creek
David Reutimann took a break this summer from racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series to visit the wonderful children of Camp Boggy Creek in Eustis, Florida. David was proud to present Camp Boggy Creek with a check for $35,000 from the David Reutimann Foundation to continue their great work. The driver of the #00 Aaron's Dream Machine in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series also visited with and signed autographs for the many children attending the camp.
Camp Boggy Creek is a year round camp for seriously ill children and offer week long summer sessions for the children and family retreat weekends for the whole family. There is no charge to the children or their families to attend Camp Boggy Creek, which makes donations key to making this place a continued blessing for all those that visit.
